Microchamps was a range of detailed 1/64th scale diecast models introduced by Minichamps in 1994. The models were made in China and feature fine decorations and quite well detailed interiors, but no opening parts. The range focused on racing cars, notably from Formula 1 and the German touring car championship (DTM), but some road cars were also released. Variations of some of these 1/64th scale models also appeared in other series by Minichamps from the mid-1990s, such as the "Michael Schumacher Collection" and the "McLaren Collection". The Microchamps name was dropped around 1999; Minichamps models in 1/64th scale have been marketed unter the company's own name since then.
