The Nostalgie range was released after the collapse of the Vitesse group in 2001, but was discontinued only after a few years. Cofradis, the French distributor of Vitesse models, released several models of French cars from the 1950s to the 1970s in 1/43rd scale under the new brand name, which were made of former Vitesse moulds. Several newly developed models, also of classic French cars, were soon added to the range.
