Pego was the name of the Italian company which distributed the Progetto K and Exem models and which was also an Italian distributor of model cars made by other manufacturers. Under its own name Pego introduced a range of detailed 1/43rd scale diecast models in 2007, consisting of popular Italian cars made by Alfa Romeo and Lancia from the 1970s to the 1990s. The quality of these Chinese-made models is very good and similar to contemporary 1/43rd scale models by Ixo, Minichamps or Norev. The company went out of business in 2011.
