Richmond Toys is a British distributor of diecast models and pre-school toys for children. In the 1990s and 2000s, the company released a series of 4.5-inch diecast vehicles (i.e., about 11-12 cm long) under its own name. The range consisted of a Routemaster double decker bus, a London taxi, contemporary British emergency vehicles (Vauxhall Omega and Land Rover Discovery police cars, LDV 400 ambulance, Volvo fire engine), a Vauxhall Brava as a roadside assistance van, and a 1974 Ford Granada from the crime series "The Sweeney". The models were made in China, and the scales vary, depending on the size of the original vehicle, between 1/36th for the passenger cars and 1/68th for the bus. Several models from the series were offered in special Irish liveries by IDP.
