The German company Tin Wizard, directed by Malte Grünberg and Thomas Wolter, started making handbuilt models in 1979. Each model is only produced in small numbers (300 to 1000), mostly in white metal, but also in resin, primarily in 1/43rd scale. Several models in 1/24th and 1/18th scale are also available. The Tin Wizard models are highly detailed and feature many photo-etched parts. Tin Wizard also manufactures model cars for customers (among others, Budig, Enco Models and Emmy Models, in the past also Metal 43, Zaugg and Beny Box) and distributes handbuilt models made by other companies.
