The German company VAPS (Volkswagen und Audi Partner Autohandel-Service GmbH) was founded in 1990 in order to develop and distribute products and provide consulting and other services for car dealers of the Volkswagen group. Since 2004, 1/43rd scale diecast models of contemporary Seat cars have been distributed by VAPS in their "Seat Collection". The models are mainly available from Seat dealers. They are made in China and are up to the current standards of collectible scale models. The actual manufacturer is not indicated on the box or on the model, but according to several sources the models are made by the same company which is also producing the Ixo and J-Collection models.
